New Menu at The Bladebone – whoop whoop

How supportive am I of my favourite restaurants?  Very is the answer.  These are my guidelines, I try only to blog food that I love, the occasional exception is where I am taken by surprise.  Also I blog whereever I am so obviously there is a huge Berkshire/Bristol bias but next month will be a lot of Thailand particularly Koh Samui.

Not sure I ordered these but they came out anyway and made our dining companions Richard and Debbie VERY happy.  They would have been ecstatic if I had let them eat them.  Mwahahahaha.  `just for your information they are moist, very cheesy and utterly delicious.  Dont tell Debbie and Richard

Weirdly the men both chose the crab and onion bhaji and loved it although they would have liked a dip

Again weirdly the women both went for the belly pork with black pudding and scallop and a crackling strip.  Oh so yummmy

The famous and wonderful oink oink, not sure Tony has ever gone for anything else as he loves it so much

Richard is a fish connoisseur and loved this with the scallops on top, perfectly cooked

Look I know these are only chips but look how they are scooped and served with the amazing dip, how cool is this

oh my, fillet steak with truffled something and green beans wrapped in bacon, i was a pleb and asked for chips as well, see above.  The steak was flavoursome and so soft and scrummy.

You know, dear reader, that I dont care so much for pudding but this profiterole confection seemed to please, indeed I nabbed a taste, grand

Interesting version of creme brulee, look at the huge chunks of honeycomb toffee on top, oh yes!

I loved our servers, so welcoming and adorable

Race day for West Berkshire Mencap, first Friday in March, come and enjoy it but get in touch fast as it will sell out, call 01635 41464, so good to have a Chapel ‘Row/ Bladebone contingent there
